About LeanWagon

We are a team of engineers, foodies, health specialists and marketers who are extremely passionate about solving the obesity and diabetes problems in the United States. We founded LeanWagon with one simple idea: finding and working with a health coach should be simple and inexpensive. Our goal is to help everyone that is struggling with extra weight and other wellness challenges, to properly adjust their eating patterns and other behaviors in order to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Team

Greg is a dedicated web products geek and a passionate foodie. After making a major change in his eating habits he founded LeanWagon, because he wanted to help as many people as possible eat better and lose weight.

Prior to LeanWagon, Greg spent 12 years designing, building and launching web products and SEO campaigns. He was responsible for web and API product lines at NetProspex, a B2B data company. Prior to NetProspex, he designed and launched massive SEO directories of people and company information at OneSource. Prior to OneSource, he managed the development of social sharing products at GreatNonprofits and Plum.com. Prior to Plum, Greg created and managed the web engineering team at ZoomInfo, which developed its flagship SaaS recruiting product and a number of consumer directory products. Greg started his career as the technical co-founder of CompleteCase, a first ever automated web-based paralegal service.

Greg earned a Bachelor's degree in computer science from SUNY Buffalo and an MBA from Northeastern's High Tech program. Greg is currently on the board of his previous venture, AsisChem, a boutique drug discovery services company.

Greg has picked up his passion for cooking after taking Back to Basics classes a the CSCA. He loves coming up with new breakfast meal ideas and is currently working to master his grandmother's cabbage calzone recipe.

Dustin is a web designer and developer working with clients in education, start-up ventures, and good old corporate America. With roots in brick & mortar retail and small business operations, Dustin found his true calling in 2006 when he was brought on as the Director of eCommerce for Magic Beans of Brookline, MA. There, he experienced for the first time the power and possibilities available to a business when excellent design & powerful technology are coupled with a great brand. Dustin's work and consulting services cover a broad range of industries including: graphic design, SEO and SEM, standards compliant coding and development, and UI and UX architecture among others. When he's not sitting in front of a computer, he can usually be found standing in front of a hot stove. Dustin is a passionate cook and his private culinary events are well known and highly sought after in the greater Boston metropolitan area, Cape Cod, and beyond.

Dean Hantzis has 10 years of experience working in the private sector for technology start-ups. Prior to Co-founding LeanWagon, he was the engineering manager at Netprospex, Inc. He has also been an adjunct professor at Boston College since 2003, teaching an information technology course, Collaborative Computing. In 2006 he was the eighth employee hired at Jingle Networks, a startup funded by Josh Kopelman at First Round Capital and Chip Hazard at Flybridge Capital. He was an instrumental figure in developing a highly scalable architecture to support processing tens of millions of records per day. Dean earned his undergraduate degree at Boston College and a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from Brandeis University.
