Nikki is a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer. As a varsity athlete, playing both softball and field hockey, Nikki found that nutrition and fitness was something she was passionate about. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island, where she also studied Exercise Science. Upon graduating from her clinical internship as a Registered Dietitian in 2009, Nikki founded A Healthy Balance, Inc on the basis that health comes not only from a balanced diet, but a balanced life; incorporating proper nutrition, fitness and overall wellness. Nikki is an accomplished speaker with experience in corporate wellness programs, community workshops and collegiate athletics, covering topics in proper nutrition, sports nutrition, fitness, stress management, relaxation and wellness. Her writing has been featured in Women’s Day online as well as VolleyBall Magazine. Nikki enjoys providing the educational tools and resources to help her clients lead healthier lifestyles and to achieve their health and wellness goals.
